What is the Welcome Home Project?
As part of the “Bridges to Home” coalition, Impact organizes the local community to help a formerly homeless individual or family with their move into permanent housing by making their new house into a home. We do this by providing them with a number of household items ranging from plates and utensils, to small appliances, all the way to beds and couches. We deliver all of their requested items and throw them a “Welcome Home” housewarming party.
We normally try to do one Welcome Home per month.
